Extra Credit

Patti stared at the book intensely, reading each line carefully, trying to absorb each word into her fatigued, sleep deprived brain. English courses were not her forte, and the Greek Literature course she was studying for was clearly out of her league. Her grades in her major courses were stellar, however, this course was her downfall. As a senior at one of the elite universities in America, she had already received praise as a top student in biochemistry but, as her adviser warned her, "medical schools look at all of your grades, not just the ones in your major." It is this thought that caused her to slowly close her text, pick it up with both hands, and viciously hurl it across her room into the cinder block wall. "It's time to put plan "B" into action," she declared aloud to herself, and turned off the desk light and went to sleep. She did her best during the Greek Lit quiz the next morning, however, on paper it was a C effort, at best. Patti had placed added effort in obtaining extra credit that morning, however.

Professor Burns was an average looking man in his forties, actually he was not bad looking at all, but not someone the coeds would pay much attention to. He, however, was rather keen on the young lovelies in his classes, and paid much more attention to them than they did to him. Patti's plan "B" was based on this fact.
