The rest of the afternoon flew in. I managed to get through about half of the jobs that had been left for me while I was on holidays, so I felt much better than I had earlier in the day.

Soon it was five o'clock, and I heard a knock on my door. I looked up and saw Katherine standing there, coat on and bag over her shoulder.
