Chapter 4

It was 2:00 am when Richard returned home. The living room was empty. Neither Catharine nor Billy were around. Yet, the lights were switched on and television was playing. TV Remote was lying on the carpet as if someone had dropped it in utmost urgency.

Hanging his coat in the closet, Richard walked upstairs. The lights in his bedroom were switched on but there was no sound. He opened the door and saw Catharine lying on the bed fast asleep.
