Trevor opened the front door to his small crampt apartment in downtown Dallas. He reached for the lightswitch and flipped it on and took a few more steps before tossing his backpack on the floor. Trevor squeezed into his seat in front of the monitor, bent over at the waist and switched the computer on. As he did so a low pitched whine filled the room and the monitor flickered on. After opening the browser and connecting to the internet he settled back in his seat and tried to get comfortable. The next many hours passed by slowly as Trevor hacked into as many files as he could in the University's database looking for something interesting to write about in his weekly column. Around 2:07, in the morning was about to call it quits when he stumbled upon an encrypted file located in the Science department database. It took several minutes but Trevor finally gained access to it. Taking in a sharp breath Trevor was shocked yet mildly amused at what he had stumbled upon. A group of socially deprived freshmen had been experimenting with bombarding DNA strands with different forms of radiation to try and create mutant genes in order to become super heroes themselves. As it turns out one of them a one Kyle Panoz had gone so far as to expose his cells to low-level radiation to speed up the findings. An associate proffesor had found out about the unauthorized researech and reported it directly to the department chairman and all the freshman were expeled except for Mr. Panoz. Trevor copied the file to his hard-drive but this little story didn't seem to warrant the high level of encryption that it was filed under.
