A Masters Place  2

   He lifted her head gently, slid his shoulder from under it, taking extra precaution not to awaken her, he placed her head upon the pillow beside his, her hair splayed across her face as his thoughts took him back to the first time he saw her, as he watched her sleep.

     He recalled, how he had just arrived at the office, and was saying his Good Mornings to the others when he noticed her sitting there.  "Ah yes..."  the interviews for Marketing Director, he thought to himself.  He watched her then, as he was doing now.  Admiring her good looks her poise, her confidence. 

He walked over to her, reached out his hand and introduced himself. "Beni, Chief of Operations."  He watched her eyes as she smiled and put her hand in his, "Krissy, and with any luck your new Director of Marketing." "Ahhhh...you have my vote" he said, returning her smile and adding a wink.  She blushed, lowering her eyes for a moment.  He just had to smell her.  He leaned to her ear, still holding her hand and whispered.  "Good luck, little one."  He heard her tiny gasp and felt the shivers in her fingers.  One more look in her eyes, another smile, and he headed for the elevator.

        He recalled his inability to concentrate on his work that day, how the aroma of her lingered in his memory, causing him to replay over ...
