After Hour Intern

I had spent a great three months at my summer internship with an R&D lab in a pharmaceutical company, but my last day finally rolled around. The people I'd worked with threw me a small good luck/going away party and bought me lunch. My boss and his colleagues were all very pleased with the project I'd been working on. They let on that they were potentially interested in having me take a full-time position with them after graduation. I thought things were about as good as they could get.

As 5:00 rolled around, I was making some final changes to my work. I wanted to make sure the work I delivered went beyond my bosses expectations.
