Temporary Help - Part II

What had started as an after work fling on a hot Friday night with a woman more than 10 years younger than myself, was quickly becoming something more. My summer employee, Laura, was spending most evenings at my home and it was rare that we weren't together on the weekends.

I don't think that anyone in my company knew about the two of us. I rarely shared my off-hour's activities with any of my trusted employees. It just wasn't any of their business. Laura and I would drive separately to the office and it was rare that we left at the same time. I figured at the end of the summer, when Laura went back to teaching middle school, our relationship would and could become more public.
