NIGHT SHIFT PART 4

Driving home I had already made up my mind to move in with Lena. I didn't have to think about it this is what I wanted. I was tired of living alone and weary of men dumping on me. I wanted to share my life with Lena. She had said earlier that I might be confused about whether I'm lesbian or bi sexual. I don't care right now. Actually at this very moment all I can think of is being with Lena.

It didn't take me long to pack my belongings. My lease on my apartment doesn't run out until the end of the year so I guess I'll just make rent payments until then.

With everything packed and ready to be moved I made the call to my granny that I dreaded. I didn't get to do much talking. Once she was on the phone she said the whole town was calling me a slut and a whore and that I was just like my mother, always wanting to show my rear end. I listened to her harangue for a while and just said "I love you granny" and hung up.

I sat down and had a good cry. My granny was really the only family I had and I know she had done her best to raise me without my parents. I didn't want to hurt her but this is my life after all. I hope she gets over my so called transgressions because I don't want to lose her.
