The alarm woke me to a Friday morning. Mary lay deliciously naked, barely disturbed by the racket of the clock, looking like some cup of hot mocha. I was tempted to lick her sweet body awake. I envied her sleep so I let her sleep, carefully lifting myself to sitting on the bed. My head was feverish and throbbing.
