STANDING ON the rusty front porch of the mobile home, Winston didn't disguise his disgust. The ceiling was drooping, toys lie discarded all over, and to top it off, a dirty, mangy dog lay half dead with flies circling it. He seemed to be chewing on what looked to Winston as a raccoon skull.

A rather large woman opened the door of the trailer and eyed Sarah and Winston with suspicion. Overnight hair rollers surrounded her plump face. Dressed only in a duster and house shoes, she smacked her lips. A roach scurried between her feet and onto the porch. Winston's scowl deepened. Before he knew it, Winston was sitting on an old couch being served coffee that he thought wise not to drink. The inside of the home was surprisingly clean, leaving Winston wondering if the woman had seen her front yard lately.
