WHILE HER HUSBAND'S AWAY:

My brother Bob, who was a Captain in the Marine Corps, had married for the first time right after returning from the Gulf War. His new wife, Jessica Armstrong, had been his nurse while he recuperated from a minor injury at a local hospital.
