I was waiting for him to arrive home from work. I knew how hard he had been working lately, and how stressed out he was over the big project that he was working on. After he stepped into the bath, I excused myself and went to the bedroom to wait. I had taken the liberty of having his favorite Italian restaurant deliver dinner, which was waiting for him when his bath was done.
