NightLight

It is a warm summer's evening, complete with a slight breeze and tons of stars out. As I sit out on my deck enjoying the night, I start to fantasize what my neighbors across the way might be doing. I live in an apartment complex in the historic part of town, so not much really happens around here except the occasional teenager with a supped up car speeding by. During the last few summers a group of us would sit outside on the sidewalk and talk, drink and party of sorts. We didn't do too much of that last summer, so I decided we were going to take them up more this summer.

As I sit here thinking about this one of my neighbors, Mark comes home from work. He lives above me, so I can hear almost everything that he does, especially at night in the summer with windows open! Mark is a good looking man, divorced with two teenage kids that visit on the weekends, and my son likes to play with his youngest so we have gotten to know each other very well over the years. We stopped seeing each other when I got back together with my ex, but the kids still play together. And I am once again single! So I have been thinking of maybe getting together for a romp in the sack since we are both single.
