It was a Thursday night and I had an early class the next morning on Friday. I liked to plan my schedule so I could get out early on Fridays and have a little longer weekend if I possible. I normally would not go out on Thursday nights even though it seems to be the unofficial start of the weekend on most college campuses. My roommate Jeremy was pushing me all day to go with him to this frat party that he had heard about. Some girl in his Bio class named Stacy was going to be there with some of her friends. Jeremy had this huge thing for this girl and but did not want to go alone since she was going to have friends there. It is a fact that attempting to remove a girl you like from a group is nearly impossible. After almost two hours of insistent badgering I realized I would not win this fight and told him he had till midnight. After that, he was on his own.

We got to the frat house and I was shocked. Even though I do not normally party on Thursday nights I still know how to have my good time on the weekends. This party on the other hand was incredible. It took us forever to make it to the door and once we got in there were bodies stacked all over the place. The smell of rotten beer, cigarette smoke and women's perfume invaded the air. It was so hot, it was impossible to breath. I could not understand why anyone would want to be at this type of party. Jeremy begged me to stay just a little while to see if he could find Stacy.
