It was Thursday night and Trisha sat at the bar in Wang Li's staring at the last few swallows of the wine cooler in her glass. This was her second. She'd ordered the first at a quarter passed six, fifteen minutes before he was supposed to meet her. It was supposed to calm her nerves. A half an hour later, she'd ordered the second. He was only fifteen minutes late, so far, but more nerve calming was required. Now her watch said almost seven thirty, and it was clear he wasn't coming.
