Exiting the conference room after the weekly staff meeting, Sherlynn was so engrossed in the continuing conversation with one of her colleagues that she completely forgot her plans for the weekend. She didn't think twice when she felt the familiar vibration of the cell phone as it buzzed against her waist, where it was clipped to the band of her conservative, dark blue suit skirt. Pulling it from its holster, she glanced at it casually as they walked down the corridor, but stopped in her tracks when she read the text message: "2418."
