Like many couples we had, from time to time , discussed inviting other people to sometimes join in with our sex lives. The idea appealed to us both, if it had been just my decision then there would have been no problem.

It's different for a woman though, there are so many other things for her to consider; inhibitions from her upbringing, societies opinion, confidence in her body, the list goes on, the biggest fear though was that the woman from the other couple wouldn't like her, as though that mattered!

Although it seemed unlikely that anything would ever happen we carried on discussing it. The idea excited us both. I was shocked though when she admitted that she had discussed it with her friend Sandra.

Guys are regularly accused of discussing their sex lives but in my experience it just doesn't happen. Sure we discuss sex, like hazarding a guess on our luck with the new secretary or discussing the artistic merits of the infamous Pamela Anderson video, but never our own sex lives.

It was therefore astonishing to find that Sandra knew of our joint fantasy. Especially as I knew her to be happily married and that she herself would never even contemplate sex with another guy.
