It had been a long hot summer day. As a radio station intern, there were very few perks to such days. Usually, I found myself driving the station van around town to some advertiser's business trying to help them sell something. Needless to say the van was not air conditioned, and the work I was to do was not just standing inside an air conditioned store. But, that was the life I decided to take on for this summer.

This day had been no exception. One of the most annoying sales people sold an event to a client that sells cell phones. Great, now I would be cooking hot dogs for this client while he tried to bribe people into coming to his store. By 3pm I'd had enough of this, and was thankful to hear the event was over, so I could go back to the station. I loaded up the van and drove back in the heat.

When I walked in the door, the office manager said "Man, you look like you could use a cold one."
