The cloudy Boston sky seemed endless. I stood at the window of our 7th floor flat in downtown and stared out into the muggy darkness. The temperature was mild and the traffic was light. This particular Thursday evening was special, however. Earlier in the day, Susan, my beautiful and angelic girlfriend had called from work to vent off some frustration at her boss. This was typical of nearly every Thursday since the business was in rush time Friday's and she wanted things done so they could deal with the heat of the crowd on Friday morning. I told her not to worry and that hard work will pay itself back. I heard her give a little laugh of appreciation and tell me that she missed me with all her heart, I replied with the same and told her I loved her the mostest. She bid me good day and hung up, then my mind began to race.

I grabbed the keys to my Mustang and headed out into the mid-day traffic of Boston, seeking the nearest candle and scent shop. On arrival, I noticed the sweet scents flowing out of the store and thought to myself, this place is great. I took step inside and heard soft classical music ripping the walls into a trance.
