I've loved sailing most of my life and like to race sailboats whenever I can. On the last race of the late Spring Season, I would have to run my boat 65 miles north up the coast for the big regatta. My boat is only 24' and I usally carry a crew of 4-5 people. This particular race, I had invited my younger half-brother, Joey, to crew with me. When I extended the invitation, he asked if his girlfriend Crissy could come as well. I started to give him the ol' "We don't have room for any joy riders!" but Joey told me she was an accomplished sailor and was the head of the college sailing team. With that qualification, I told him to "Bring her along. The forth crewman was my old buddy, Carl.

It was going to take a full day to run the boat up to the race sight, so Carl & I motored the boat up there and Joey and Crissy were going to drive up and meet us that evening. I had never met Crissy, but I wasn't expecting much, you see my half brother is a slight little guy, about 5'5" and 140#.
