The old house had been abandoned for years. A thick layer of dust covered the once brilliantly colored siding, and the huge picture windows no longer reflected the fields around them.

The door creaked as she forced it open, sending a slight shiver down her spine. The darkness overwhelmed her as she stepped inside, letting the door fall back into place behind her. Pulling one of the candles from her bag, she struck a match and gave the place it's first taste of light in generations. Yes, this place was perfect.

All day she busied herself, pulling old plastic coverrings from the velvet coverred furniture, so long forgotten. She arranged her candles around the old couch, using the brass candlesticks she found in the cold attic. As the room began to transform, she felt something stirring within her.

Finally her work was finished. All that was left now was for him to find her. She had left several clues to her whereabouts, but she was sure it would be hours before he made his way to this place that no one remembered.

She worked her way upstairs to the old bathroom. The water ran cold and rusty at first, but soon came warm and crystal clear. She drew a bath, spinkling a few rose petals in the water when she was done.
