The Frat - Chapter 44

A Vacation with Victoria.

Mike thought about having people working in the yard and decided that it would be a good time for him to take a vacation with Victoria. As it turned out the college would also be taking a break and he had spoken with Mary about taking Stella out for a week with them. It would be good to see how she would react to her surroundings now that she had been involved in the Frat for several months. The reports that he had been receiving from the school were encouraging. Someone suggested that he go on a cruise. Get away from it all. Well almost, there would be sea to land phones if absolutely needed but it would get him away from all of the routines that he dealt with on a daily bases.

Victoria thought that it was a great idea and told Mike that she would make room in her schedule to take the time off. The contractor that Mike had agreed to work with on his special project assured him that he could do the majority of the work in the time that they would be gone. Mike made arrangements to stay at the hotel up by the school the week before the school break and then to go from there to the airport and fly to Miami where he would pick up the cruise ship. He had managed to get adjoining accommodations that would allow Victoria and himself to have privacy but only a door would separate him from Stella and he could adjust his supervision of her vacation as necessary. ...
