Stella gets a tan.

Stella had gone down to the cabin with her mother and selected one of her beach cover-ups that she had bought. She had thought if might be needed if the guy showed up like he was supposed to. She checked her appearance in the mirror and refreshed her lipstick and then with a toss of her head she headed topside. She strolled around the deck casually eyeing the many different shapes and body types and watched the clock. She timed her stride so that she reached the door heading down alongside the pool with the glass side. It was exactly 5:05 as she entered the passage. Looking down the steps she saw Sam coming up.

He snapped his fingers and gave a shake of his head, it looked like he forgot something as he spun on his heel and started down again. Stella's heart raced as she kept pace with his decent. The walked down four decks before he turned and stepped outside. He turned forward then and moved toward the door at the end of the deck. Everyone was either eating or getting ready to eat and this area of the ship was deserted. Except for the back of the person in front of her Stella didn't notice anything that moved. Of course if she had looked out at the ocean it would have been moving but she was too concentrated on following the form in front of her. ...
