Brenda and Sam Part 3

I awoke Friday morning already exhausted after a restless, mostly sleepless night. I had tossed and turned and would wake up nearly every half hour. I glanced at the clock and it was only five. God.

I decided I might as well get up and fix coffee. I looked at Ron still sleeping and peaceful looking and wondered if it was easier to live with a man or a woman.

I quietly exited the room and downstairs put the coffee on. While it was brewing I went to the downstairs bathroom and peed and brushed my teeth. Back in the kitchen I sat down with my coffee and thought about my marriage. There were just a couple of points of contention between Ron and me. He wanted kids and I didn't; that was the major issue.

I wanted a house of our own. The condo was nice but I wanted a nice home. Ron wouldn't budge on the issue. He didn't want to have any responsibilities for cutting grass and doing any kind of upkeep that owning a house entailed. I guess all in all our marriage wasn't idyllic but it wasn't a bad marriage. I just had a feeling my luck was going to run out and Ron would find out about by love of women. I had a good run going though.
