Rachel walked into the hallway of her home and dropped her black leather purse on the cherry wood entry table along with her shut off cell phone and keys. Her black leather pumps made resounding clicks on the glossy hardwood floor that echoed through her empty house. She sighed as she slipped them off and left them by the right hand side of the stairs. She went into the kitchen and opened the brush steel door to her refrigerator and took out a bottle of very nicely chilled white zinfandel. She struggled with the cork and finally popped it out of it's bottle. She took a crystal wine glass out of a nearby cabinet and poured the golden alcohol into the glass, it's contents caressing the sides and splashing around carefree. She placed the wine bottle next to the glass and picked the glass up. She inhaled the fragrance and took a sip. She savored the first taste as always. It slipped down her tongue and throat, burning deliciously down to her belly, giving her warmth and relaxation on windy and cold fall day.
