She peeked out the window. "The snow is really coming down out there," she thought. "I hope they can make it here safely."

A half hour later, she paced the floor impatiently. She had invited her boyfriend and his best friend over to watch the big game on t.v, and they were already 15 minutes late. The phone rang. It was Rob. He said the traffic was really bad with the weather, and he'd be there in 45 minutes. "Great." She thought. "And the game is getting ready to come on!"

She piled up on the couch and flipped on the t.v. "Football's not the same without cuddling with Rob," she thought.

Finally, it was about time for the guys to arrive. She peeked out the window just in time to see them pull up. She ran outside and greeted Rob with a firm kiss on the lips. "Hi, Rob! Hi, Cole. Glad you guys made it!" The three went inside and got comfortable in front of the t.v.

The game lasted about an hour more, and the three enjoyed laughing and talking together. "I'm glad we decided to hang out, guys, this is great!" she said, "Thanks for coming!"

"Hey, there's another game on pay-per-view, I think," Rob said. "Want to check it out?" ...
