It was a hot August morning. Jay’s parents had taken off for the week, and he had the whole house to himself. He now just sat there, in front of a huge fan, trying to come up with plans for the day. The phone broke the silence as Jay jumped up to answer it. “Hello?” “Jay, its Ryan.” “Oh hey, what’s up?” “Nothing much. Listen, its pretty hot today, what do ya say we head for the beach?” Jay agreed and quickly got ready. They lived only 30 miles from the ocean, so going to the beach was no big event for them. It was something the two did quite often. When the arrived at the water front, both were amazed to see how crowded it was. “Man, look at all these girls,” Ryan exclaimed with excitement. Jay felt a little shy and nervous. He had never had much experience with women. “Let’s hit the water, I’m dying from the heat.” “You go ahead,” Jay said nervously, “I’m gonna sit here for a while.” Ryan did not hesitate.
