A Fantasy: I arrived at the park in the predawn light and parked by the trail. I grabbed my backpack and started down the trail with my camera on its tripod, hoping to get a good shot of the small waterfall when the sun gets up just high enough. The park is not very crowded this early as all I've seen so far are a couple of joggers out on the road. I get down to a spot below the falls with a good angle and set up the camera. Behind me is an under cut small cliff giving seclusion and a block from the slight damp morning breeze. I find a large flat rock to settle down on and get out my thermos of coffee. While sipping at the warming brew I hear someone walking up the streambed. In about five minutes I see a 50-ish gentleman coming towards me. When he sees me and my camera setup he comes over and introduces himself

"Hi I'm George, good morning to you. Still a little dark for photos isn't it."

I reply, " Yes, a little, I'm waiting for the light to be right to start. I'll be able to take a few shots then when the sun gets up too high I'll have to move to another spot as the sun will be directly into the lens."

We talked for a while about the camera, the waterfall and my location. George thought it was a good viewpoint and wanted to look through the camera to see the shot framing. There was plenty of time before the light got right so we started to adjust the view for different shots, ...
