Bonnie called me at work one afternoon, with that mischievous tone in her voice. She said, "What did you have planned this evening?" I told her, "Nothing, maybe watch a little bit of the ballgame, have a glass of wine and relax..."

With a spark to her voice, "Maybe I want to change those plans a little? Are you in the mood for a surprise?" I got that uneasy feeling in my gut, but could only respond, "Sure, angel - a surprise sounds interesting." Bonnie responded, "Well, good! I told her, "Well, OK... as long as it's within reason, I'll go along with you..." Now she had me going, "Well, I don't know... this sounds like it could be dangerous..." Bonnie said, "I wouldn't do anything 'dangerous', or that would hurt you babe... just say yes - promise me!" Reluctantly, I agreed, "OK, I promise... but you better not make me regret this!" Bonnie chimed back, "You won't regret it, I'm sure of that. Just be home at a reasonable hour and don't keep me waiting - my surprise will be worth your efforts and your promise!"

Needless to say, I had difficulty concentrating on work the remainder of the day. Sometimes my little wife could be a real productivity ...
