Their teenage children gone for the weekend, Kevin and Sue had enjoyed a nice evening alone the night before - dinner out, relaxing together in front of the TV (no kids arguing in the background) and some quiet intimate time before turning in rather early. But it was now Saturday afternoon, they had managed to get a number of things done around the house and while talking to their neighbors (Don and Missy) they suggested that they come over this evening, have some drinks and play some games.

Don and Missy had lived next door for a couple years and had become good friends, about 10 years younger than Kevin and Sue they had two young children but they had been lucky enough to find a last minute babysitter and had just arrived carrying a large quantity of beer from a wide selection of microbreweries - something that both couples really enjoyed. Sue suggested that they all play Euchre - a very Michigan game -- although only Don was from Michigan they all had lived in the state long enough to learn to enjoy playing. While Sue got out the cards, Don and Kevin got everyone a beer and they sat down to play.

While playing the first few hands, they were all carrying on a lively conversation and having a great time. After about 25 minutes, Kevin asked who needed another beer. As they were all basically done with their firsts, everyone was ready for another. It was then that the night took an unexpected and interesting turn.
