Don't ask me why I did it or why I was even interested in the first place, but I answered the simple ad that he had placed in the local artsy newspaper- Nude model needed. Now normally I would just pass by these requests for "massages" and lovers and the like, but something about this ad sparked my interest. Perhaps it was some need to be immortalized on canvas or maybe the alignment of the planets or just plain old boredom that led me to his door, nervous and red with embarrassment, but does anyone really understand what motivates them to change their lives in such dramatic ways?

When I reached the door of his flat, tucked away in a dank, unkempt part of town, I almost turned back, too many times to recall.
