Chapter 2 - The Costume Shop

The sign outside the shop said "Mistress Marianne's Magical Miscellaneous". Stepping through the front door I was immediately overcome with the scent of candles, incense and God knows what else. The air felt heavy. It wasn't unpleasant, but certainly a little weird.

I had almost gotten frustrated with my search for a good costume shop. It seemed that only Adult Toy Stores carried the Liquid Latex that I was required to make a part of my outfit. They were useless though, when it came to putting together an entire outfit. At least one that was intended to stay on for an evening. And the mainstream costumers got pretty uppity when I tried to consult on how to prepare for an Adult Costume Ball. I was actually getting worried that I might not be able to find a costume that would be acceptable, since the party was only one day away.

That's when I happened to notice "Mistress Marianne's" in an older looking building that I hadn't noticed before. Who knew what the "Miscellaneous" might indicate, so I decided to check it out.
