This is a story I wrote many years ago when I had to use a spiral note pad and ball point pen. I just got around to putting it on the computer.(Boy, my handwriting was terrible then, and still is.) Greg goes fishing and ends up encountering a UFO. This is what happens to him afterwards.

Fishing in the Dark

CHAPTER 1

Greg Winston unsnapped the clip attached to the gunwale of his boat, and with a grunt, hoisted a full stringer of bass from the water. Fifteen in all and not one of them weighing less than one pound. After swinging the night's catch over his shoulder, he checked the lock and chain securing his beat up aluminum long john to a large tree before started up the twisting foot path. A few minutes later he reached the deeply rutted road where he had parked his pickup nearly four hours earlier.

After stowing his rod, tackle box, and fish in the bed of the truck, he unlocked the driver's door and started to get in. It was then, he first noticed the noise. There was something different and strange about it, a quality that he could not place.
