CHAPTER 4

Greg slept in, Sunday morning, and it was nearly noon by the time he finished his shower. While eating breakfast, he tried to recall the strange events of Friday evening. About the only thing he could remember was the strange sensation of gliding above the water, and having something around him.

<Hell it's a hot one today. I think I'll go back out to the lake and look around where I was parked. Maybe I'll see something in the day time that I didn't see that night. I can always go swimming. There just might be a good-looking chick just waiting to have a good time.>

Greg parked his pickup in approximately the same spot where he had been Friday night, and walked down the narrow path to where he had his boat tied and locked. He searched the whole area around the boat and could not find any sign that anything unusual had occurred in or around the area. Discouraged, he decided to row across the lake to the swimming beach.

Greg was about half way across when he noticed a boat come into the main part of the lake from Arrowhead arm pulling a skier. As the boat came nearer he noticed that the skier was a female and that she was not an expert, though she was on one ski.
