CHAPTER 8

During the next two weeks, Greg spent twelve to fifteen hours a day at the plant preparing for the day Jack retired, and when he did, Greg was fully entrenched in the job. There were several procedures that he felt would be an improvement, making it easier to handle some of the materials, and had submitted his ideas to Mr. Bradley. He wasn't surprised when his ideas were approved, and the necessary equipment had been purchased.

While requesting the Purchase Orders for the equipment, Greg, on several occasions, had to talk to Betty. Every time, he would think about their two dates, and instantly he would start to feel a tightness in his groin. She continued to turn him down when he asked her for dates, and he had just decided that he would stop asking her. <Hell I'll call Shirley.>

That same afternoon, much to his surprise Betty walked into his office. "Hi Greg, here's those P.O.'s you requested."

"Thanks." He said, taking the proffered pieces of paper. "You sure look good. How are you?"

"Thanks, and I'm fine - I guess."
