It had been a long time since I had been with a man. I had a friend, Jonathon, and I hadn't seen him in years. Out of the blue, we had run into each other at a shopping centre of all places, and he was still the tall and good-looking man I had remembered.

We sat in a coffee shop and had cappuccino's and caught up.

"The last time I saw you, Theresa, you were getting married to that guy..." he looked confused and his green eyes bore into mine. "What was his name?"

"Ryan." I spat out, with a scowl. "Ryan Mitchell. And we are no longer married. Turned out, he was more interested in his job than in me. Oh and his secretary."

"You're kidding? He had a beautiful, gorgeous woman like you and was more interested in his job?" Jonathon looked flabbergasted and he shook his incredulously. "What a fool."

What else could I do but agree and then I laughed. It had been a long time since I had smiled let alone laughed. He laughed with me and his smile lit up his entire face. I couldn't believe that I was sitting with this sexy man again, laughing like a fool and feeling the stirrings of lust. A lust I thought I had long since forgotten.
