Most people new her as BA, pronounced like the sound a sheep makes. The letters were her initials but most people assumed it stood for Bad Ass. Bobby Adams was a getaway driver. It was her job and she did it well. She was hired by some of the most notorious robbers to drive them safely away from the scene of the crime. The FBI had unsuccessfully chased her for years. They weren't so much interested in arresting her as using her for information. She could be one of their key sources to some of the world's most wanted criminals. Right now she was driving fast but she wasn't running from the law. Flying down the freeway with the speedometer teetering at 100 mph was her idea of fun.

Wild funk or thumping rock was the background music for her driving. Even when she was transporting armed criminals from a robbery she played something like Atomic Dog by George Clinton or She's Got Legs by ZZ Top and dictated that no one say a word until they reached their destination. Right now she was listening to a CD by Christina Aguilera and the song Dirty was thumping from the speakers.

She kept an eye on the radar/laser detector while she effortlessly weaved in and out of traffic. She also watched for the generic patrol cars - the Crown Victorias and Impalas - on both sides of the freeway. The trick to getting away wasn't necessarily using a fast vehicle. Many times she was stuck driving lumbering armored trucks or clumsy cargo vans.
