Samantha had been doing a great job as the bands manager. Within 3 weeks she had already booked 25 gigs for us for the next three months. We were coming up on the first show that she booked when I got a phone call from her asking me what I thought about her having an outfit for the shows.

"Afterall," she pleaded, "the band has a uniform where all the guys are wearing all black, so shouldn't I try to fit in with that look. I certainly can't just show up in jeans and a t-shirt and expect people to take me seriously."

After we talked a while, I tried to end the conversation by saying, "well, it really isn't up to me, it's up to the whole band so see what the other guys have to say."

"I've already talked to them, they don't really care one way or the other, besides, I know you have the best taste in clothes out of all of them." Samantha was persistent, probably how she got us all of those gigs.

"I'll make it easy on you," she continued, "you just show up at my house at 7 tonight and I'll have the outfits all ready, you just have to help me pick."
