Molly in College Part 14

The room was dark and there was some soft, soulful jazz playing throughout the room. She heard the door to her dorm room open and close. "There goes that ghost again," She thought, referring to her roommate. She was hardly around. An outgoing junior with many other friends and being stuck with a freshman, why would she ever be here? These were the recent thoughts filling her head. She didn't care too much though, since she had her own friends and mostly it was just a place for her to crash and study. Of course, she had spent many nights elsewhere until recently. Now all she wanted was her dark room and bed. A place for her to cry as she started to again. Cheerleading practice, which was becoming increasingly hard to go to, games, which were boring, classes and crying in her room was her life. That's the way she wanted it now. At least that's what she told herself. Shea's life was a mess.

Shea was lying on her bed when she heard a knock on her door. She hadn't heard anyone else come in. She got up and opened the door. Standing there was her roommate. Shea was puzzled why she had knocked. Maybe she wanted to borrow something or who knows.

"Shea, you alright?" Mandy said.
