Like all good stories, this one starts out...

A long time ago in a far away land, ok it wasn't really all that long ago and it happened in Las Vegas but it sounded so much better the other way. So, let me start again from the beginning.

Being a true man, my three favorite things are women, sports and Las Vegas. So, I surprised my girlfriend at the time by telling her we were going to go to Vegas for the weekend.

My girlfriend has a thing for Egypt so I booked our rooms at the Luxor hotel. For those of you not familiar with Vegas, that is the hotel that is shaped like an Egyptian pyramid. Oh, and another thing, if you are not familiar with Vegas then you really should be.

So, after the usual long wait at the airport we finally boarded our plane. All the new "security" at the airport and really all they are doing are checking out ID's over and over again. How stupid, all the terrorists on 9/11 had ID's so I don't know what this is supposed to do ...
