Julia and I were best friends all thru high school. When we picked our college choices, I stayed in Nebraska while Julia went to University of Florida. We kept in touch and emailed a lot, but I was shocked that mid-way thru our senior year, Julia called me to tell me she was getting married! The wedding would be shortly after graduation and I was to be the maid of honor!

Two days before the wedding, I flew to Miami where the wedding was to be. I met George, her fiancé, and also got acquainted with the other bridesmaids, including her older sister, Stephanie. Julia was living in a condominium where she and George would be living together after the wedding. Stephanie was bunking in with her and Julia invited me to stay there for the two days until the wedding.

I went to the rehearsal and then to a swanky private club where the rehearsal dinner was being catered. I began feeling a little out of place because of the flamboyant way the other bridesmaids were all decked out in scanty evening party-wear versus my rather plain-looking summer cotton dress. I watched as George would grab Julia's butt-cheek and pull her to him as he'd plant a big kiss on her lips along with a thrusting tongue down her throat. I was thinking that George was not much of a "class act", but if that's who Julia loved, it was her choice.

It seemed like Julia had changed quite a bit since our high school days ...
