The eight of us had been experimenting with extra-marital sex for the last six months or so. Up to this point my wife, Kim, and I had been extremely careful not to give any indication of the identity of other couples we were experimenting with.

One night, as we were driving over to Mark and Mel's place, Kim suggested that perhaps we should try to get everyone together for a party, and let everyone get to know the others. I thought that was a wonderful idea, and suggested that we bring it up with Mark and Mel.

We were having drinks before dinner, Kim sitting on Mark's lap, and Mel sitting on the arm of my chair. Nothing was really going on yet - I was running my hand up and down Mel's thigh, and Mark was massaging Kim's breast through her blouse, but primarily we were just talking. Kim raised the question of a group get-together: "We had an idea on the way over here. As you know, we have been experimenting with other couples, as well as you, and thought that it would be fun for all of us to get together somewhere, perhaps for a long weekend, and see how everybody likes the idea. None of you know who the other couples are, and we won't mention any names until everyone has agreed." ...
