I open my eyes to a resounding ‘BEEP BEEP BEEP' noise, and realize that it's the alarm clock. I reach over and smack the snooze button and roll over as a pathetic attempt to go back to sleep. The sun is peering in through the blinds, hinting at what a beautiful day it is going to be. I reach up and stretch my arms. You are still in bed sleeping peacefully, and you don't have to get up for another half hour, so I reach over to the alarm clock and reset it for a half hour and climb out of bed.

I go into the kitchen to start some coffee and then walk over to the window and look outside. It is still pretty early, so there isn't a whole lot of movement yet. The coffee is finally ready, and I pour myself a cup and then pour some into a travel cup and put the lid on tight so it will stay warm. I bring it into the bedroom and put it by the bed so it will be just right for when you wake up. I bring my coffee into the bathroom and turn on the shower. I wash my face, and I slowly undress and drop my pajamas into the hamper while I sip my coffee.

When I see steam pouring out of the shower I put down my coffee and step into the warm heaven of the shower that is awaiting me. I stand under the stream of water for a minute, just absorbing it. I pour body wash onto my sea sponge and get it all nice and foamy, and then I start with my neck and lather myself up.
