Chapter Five: On the Beach Road

The next day Elizabeth was up early for her visit with her friend. Together that morning they had roamed the shops and malls of Jacksonville and its beach. After an early lunch she said good bye to her friend and was off on her exploration of Florida. Following her friend's suggestion, she turned onto highway A1A, and drove south on the scenic route past the wide sandy Atlantic Beaches. Along the way she kept an eye out for a nice beach side motel to spend the afternoon and night. Not far north of St. Augustine she found the perfect spot. She took an ocean front room on the second floor, and by 2:50 in the afternoon she was in a bikini sitting at the bar in the pool kiosk overlooking the beach.

A number of well tanned and muscled young men were lounging around the pool, or coming up from the beach for refills of their drinks. Some were very young, college boys, Elisabeth guessed. Others were a bit older than that, but most only by a few years, perhaps junior executives on vacation. The older they were, the more likely the were to be paired with a woman, often a very attractive woman.

Many of all ages were alone, however, unaccountably so to be the desirable hunks most of them were. Single men on vacation and hunting ...
