When I grow up, I want to be a... Part 3

It is November 18, 2004, when I started writing this I did not intend on including this part of my life in it only because it is the most painful part of my life so far and a little embarrassing. Very few people know the full story, the only one of any consequence in my life now that knows the whole story is my very best friend, and lover Sue and her husband Ron.

Usually I leave this part of my life out when I talk to people, but recent developments in my life made me realize I had to tell this now. I guess it started back when I was 17 and working at the diner over the summer, when I met "Jack" for the first time. I had only been working there for a few weeks when he came in and sat down at the counter. The first thing you notice about him is he is just so damn good looking, he reminded me of an older Sean Connery with more hair and no beard, I thought he was in his middle thirties but found out much later how old he was really.

I did not pay attention to him at first when he gave me what became his regular breakfast order, 2 eggs sunny side up, hash browns and white toast lightly buttered, the only reason I added that in here is because he used it to give me a corny line about the sunny side eggs to match my sparkling eyes.
