(This is a fictional story, though one inspired by real events. An ex-girlfriend of mine who used to do some nude modeling was once asked about possibly doing some porn movies. In real life she said no, but this is a story about what might have happened had she said yes. With some embellishments thrown in to make things more entertaining, of course.)

Sara and Walter had married young, but after three blissful years together, the couple still had no regrets. They met and fell in love in college while she was a freshman and he was a sophomore, and were married the summer before she began her senior year. He took a job straight out of school and they moved into a house a few miles from campus. After Sara graduated a year later, she went on to study bio at the grad school while Walter continued to advance at his job. They were in love, things were perfect, and the future seemed bright. They didn't realize they had been living in the calm before the storm, and that things were about to come crashing down around them.

Walter had risen highly among the ranks of the dot com where he had worked, so the collapse of the company came as quite a shock. Over those past three years Walter had accepted substantial stock options in lieu of regular bonuses or raises, which seemed like the smart move at the time considering how the company continued to increase in value at an exponential rate. Once the company went under and all the employees let go, those once valuable stock options became so many worthless ...
