The Turn of Jenny's Screw

Jenny's adrenalin jolted her and her senses were razor sharp when the drab-looking car with government plates pulled up in her drive and the Captain and Sergeant approached her door. She sobbed openly when she heard the words, "We're sorry to inform you ma'am.
