The Circle People Chapter 7

Jen's phone call was an emergency meeting of individuals through out our community. Mary Jo, myself and about 30 other people will meet tonight at the community clubhouse. Jen assured me this is no sex party we are having, rather serious business that threatens us all.

8:00 pm we are all there, Jen is chairing this meeting that will change us forever. Three men have come back from Europe with girlfriends, one black, one Indian, and one Asian. If we let these women integrate among us, it will destroy the community. Our whole outlook, both sexual and non- sexual is built on an equal basis for all. In addition our physical make up is different than an outside person. We are stronger, have more physical stamina, healthier, and better looking. Hence we are in one sense, superior to other people. We have stayed like this because we have not inter-married with the rest of society. There are several circle people communities through out the world. On the surface we appear like anyone else but in reality we will not marry outside our people.

We adjourned until next week to come up with ideas how to deal with the situation.
