"Bad storm approaching. I better get going so I can get home before it hits" The clerk handed me my change and I gathered my supplies and threw them in the trunk. It was a long drive back up the mountain to my cabin and it was starting to get very dark. I had hated making the trip to the market but I wanted to make sure the refrigerator was stocked for the weekend so I could just sit back and enjoy myself. The way the weather looked it did not seem like I was going to be able to do much outside anyway. No since in being bored and hungry.

My cabin was about 20 miles from the nearest sign of life other than the deer and the squirrels that came by for an occasional treat that I would leave for them. I loved my cabin in the woods. It gave me a place to get away by myself and forget about the stress and frustrations brought on by the week's events. A place all my own where I could get back in touch with nature and do things just for me. Just unwind and relax. The road was very steep and not highly traveled and the rain had begun to get heavier to the point it was hard to see what lied ahead. Only a few more miles and I could turn off and head down the path and be in where it was safe and warm. Through the slapping of my windshield blades I could make out two small lights blinking in the distance and reduced my already slow pace down to a crawl. As the image began to get closer I could make out that it was flashers from the back of a stranded vehicle. I pulled up behind it to see a person hovered under a coat trying to change a tire.
