Who was the object of our attention? None other than our Art History professor, Lorna Redding. Professor Redding was unlike any professor we had; she appeared to be from our generation. She was a great teacher. Her classes were fun and stimulating while also being tough and demanding. A lot of those that had signed up hoping for an easy mark soon abandoned the class.

We were unsure of her age, but it seemed unlikely that a woman under 40 would be a professor at this university. The youngest professor we had in the time we'd been here was a man of 52 years. Not only did Professor Redding look young, she was gorgeous. She was a tall statuesque redhead that looked like she belonged on the runways of Paris. Monica, Jen and I were in awe.

Monica, Jen and I had become friends in first year of residence. By the third year, we had gotten a place together. We were very close friends and made great roommates. Now in our final year, we were really looking forward to graduating together.
